Roland Mitchel Cortright "Mitch", age 90, of Oxford, NJ formerly of Vienna, NJ died Friday, October 19, 2012 at Warren Haven Nursing Home of Oxford, NJ. Roland was born September 17, 1922 in Great Meadows, NJ. He is the son of the late Joseph and Cora (Wolfe) Cortright. He was predeceased by his wife the late Carrie (Wildrick) Cortright.

He served in the United States Army during WW II as a Private First Class from 1943-1946. He was employed by Bridgeville Coal & Oil, Belvidere, NJ as a Truck Driver. 
Mitch was of Methodist faith and he and his late wife were famous for sitting on their porch waving to those who passed by.  He enjoyed antique cars and loved to listen to country music.

He is survived by 1 Daughter, Bonnie Fernandez; 2 Sons , Mitchel & his wife Michelle Cortright; Larry & and his wife Pamela Cortright;  1 Brother, Robert Cortright; 7 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. Burial will be in Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows, NJ.

Calling hours will be Monday, October 22, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J.
