Rita C. DiRienzo, age 92, of Mansfield Township, NJ died Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Warren Haven Nursing Home, Mansfield Twp., NJ. Rita was born May 21, 1920 in Atlas, PA. She is the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Haffey) DiRienzo.

She was employed by the  Hackettstown Gazette for 44 years as an Office Manager and Bookkeeper and retired in 1991. Previously she worked at Picatinny Arsenal during WW II.
Rita was a parishioner of Our Lady Of The Mountain R.C. Church, Long Valley, NJ. She was a Graduate of Hackettstown High School, Class of 1938.

She is survived by ; Sister Ethel Swisher, Hackettstown, NJ & many loving Nieces and Nephews. Predeceased by 2 Brothers, Robert DiRienzo (1994) and James DiRienzo; Predeceased by 4 Sisters, Florence May, Dorothy Filipski, June Gavinelli And Loretta Skinner.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am on Monday, July 16, 2012 at Our Lady Of The Mountain Church, 2 E. Springtown Rd, Long Valley, NJ. Burial will be in Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows, NJ following the Mass.

Calling hours will be Sunday, July 15, 2012 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J.
