Of all the good times that we shared I leave to you fond memory
And for all the friendships that we had, I ask you to remember me.
And when you sit and stories tell, I'll be with you and help recall
So fill to me the parting glass, goodnight, enjoy, and be to you all.
I remember when my boys came home from boy scout camp excited that Uncle Pete and Uncle Red made a surprise visit. It is a happy memory we have cherished all these years.
Uncle Pete was a gentleman and a gentle man.

Kathy,Al, Mary Fran, Peter Kevin and Regina, and families, cousins,
We are so sorry to hear of our Uncle Pete's passing. He was still smiling when we visited with him and he and my mom held hands and he smiled at her the whole time as she talked to him. He was responsive and did speak with her and each of us. I will always remember him especially with Uncle Red and my Dad at our kitchen table talking about the Yankees during baseball season. I am sure their conversation continues on but on a higher plane. We are so sorry for your loss and our prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
May you rest in peace Uncle Pete and may heaven have enough eternal hiking trails to keep you smiling.

A gentile, soft-spoken, kind soul has left this earth to enter the realm of angels in heaven. I remember Uncle Pete as always the gentleman, a quiet leader, and a man of great intelligence. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and remembered forever for all these qualities and more. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, my dear cousins, in this time of great sorrow.
