Caroline Frances Smith, age 78, of Long Valley, NJ died Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Sunrise Assisted Living of Randolph, NJ. Mrs. Smith was born April 18, 1934 in Montreal, Canada. She is the daughter of the late Charles and the late Mabel (Weber) Smith. Caroline is also predeceased by her daughter, Kathleen Marie Smith.

She retired from Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ in 2002 where she worked as a Registered Nurse for 20 years.

She is survived by 3 daughters; Joanne Louise Kortendick and husband Michael, Adrienne Renee Owens and husband Greg, Rachael Elizabeth Suazo and husband Aaron, 4 sons; David John Smith and wife Donna, Philip Joseph Smith and wife Debbie, Gordon Smith and wife Liz, Edwin Christopher Smith and wife Julie; 14 grandchildren; Jennifer, Kristin, Martin, Matthew, Maria, Jacob, Ryan, Mason, Nicole, Caitlin, Courtney, Gabrielle, Mary Rose and Conner.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, December 22 at Our Lady Of The Mountain Church, 2 E. Springtown Rd, Long Valley, NJ with Father David Pekola officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Our Lady of the Mountain Cemetery .  The family wishes to invite friends and family to join them at the Schooley's Mountain Firehouse following the services at the cemetery.
