Johanna Kunkel, age 79, of Belvidere, NJ died Friday, May 10, 2019 at home.  Johanna was born February 8, 1940 in Romania to the late Rudolf and Wilhelmina (Kletsch) Krieger.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert and her son Andrew.

As a dedicated homemaker and with deep love for her family, Johanna took the best care of those she loved.  She enjoyed baking and sewing and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Johanna is survived by her daughter, Heidi Petersen and her husband Mark, their daughter Holly Bruens and her husband Michael, her son Peter Kunkel and his wife Marlene, her son Michael Kunkel and his wife Tara.

A burial will be held at Butzville United Methodist Cemetery, Butzville, NJ Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 1:30 pm.

A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from  12 noon to 1 pm and 3-5 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ  07840
