Very saddened. Dave and I were good friends since High School. We saw each other as couples with Gary and Kenny Kraus for about a decade after High School to play cards etc. Dave and I visited colleges together and were supposed to attend Upsala college beginning right after H..S. , he deferred at last munute, I went and he later went I believe to Montclair State. I will cherish my memories of Dave and Rita, both very bright people.

We recently got to know Dave well, as he would come watch our son play baseball. We learned at one point he was a sports writer and knew the game well. He truly will be missed, as we were looking forward to his continued company and conversations on many topics.

I am deeply saddened by the news of Dave's sudden passing. We were close friends from elementary school through high school. We both shared a love for "Willie Mays." Dave and I just recently began comminicating with each other. I am going to greatly miss "the Bump." Deepest condolences to his family.

We are truly saddened and shocked by Dave's passing. Although we haven't seen him since we moved to North Carolina, we kept in touch via email. I've know "Bump" since High School, and can remember he was always the go-to person for sports trivia. He will be missed. Our sincere condolences. Fred and Sue Kraft

I am shocked! I just spoke to him. Known him since I was 15, loved him like my brother. Loved Rita as well. Was in their wedding. To Dave's family: Please get in touch with me, as I live in Maine. Thank you. David, I will always hold you in my heart. Rest in peace with Rita, my friend. Leslie
