 Grace Ann Smith, age 78, of, Hackettstown died Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Forest Manor Health Care Center, Hope, NJ.  Grace was born June 30, 1939 in Bronx, NY to the late Anthony and Mary (Salerno) Bosco.  In addition to her parents, Grace is preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Bosco and her son in law, Alexander Nowak.

She was formerly employed by Newton Memorial Hospital, Newton, NJ as a Secretary.  Grace was a member and Eucharistic Minister of the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, Andover, NJ.  In addition she participated in their Bible study program.  She was a former volunteer at the Newton Memorial Hospital after she retired, was an avid animal lover, enjoyed a good murder mystery and word search puzzles.  Most of all she loved cooking for and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her beloved husband: Robert Smith, three daughters; Toni-Ann Pieschl and her husband Paul, Marie Cooper and her husband Robert and Jennifer Nowak, a brother Anthony Bosco Jr. and his wife Hildegard, sister Donna Fina and her husband Michael, a sister in law; Tina Bosco. Five grandchildren; Lauren Hurban and her husband Matt, Lindsey Pieschl, Robert Cooper, Charlotte Cooper, Victor Nowak, a great granddaughter, Eloise Hurban and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held 10:30 am on Monday, March 12 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 48 Tranquility Road County Route 517, Andover, NJ with Father Timothy Dowling officiating.  Burial will be in Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, Andover following the mass,

Visitation hours will be Sunday, March 11 from 2 - 6 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.

Grace -- her name says it all. A lovely lady abundant in grace and kindness. We cherish many remembrances of our dear friend, and the sound of her laughter that evokes an instant smile and a joyful heart -- easing the pain of her loss.
