JoAnn, Kevin, Keith, Kelly & Spouses - Please accept our deepest regrets and sorrow for your loss. Etched in my memory is a picture of Bert, Ralph, Billy, Face, Danny, Tim ... all wearing "Uncle Ralph's Tavern" bowling shirts, standing behind the iced drink tub I just fell into at the Netcong boat races, probably in 1975. Close behind that, I see Bert & JoAnn on family camping trips, and Bert on the bank of the Lackawaxen, coaching me as he pulls another trout in (I could never pull 'em like he could. Even in the same pool!). Then comes the more recent memories at Shady Pines. I have not been around a lot, but I have been around enough to know, and be positively influenced by, the great man who is your father. Bert has been a great and dear friend to our family. He will be sorely missed, but he leaves us in the love and friendship that comes only from a life well lived. May you all find the peace and grace of God in your chosen faith.
