I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Fitzpatrick's passing. He was an inspiring professor and encouraged me to double-minor in history and political science. I will never forget his classes, especially his "Introduction to Terrorism" course. I learned so much from him, and I will be forever grateful for having him as a teacher. When my dad passed away in sophomore year, he wrote me the kindest email and was so supportive throughout the following weeks of that semester. My prayers and thoughts are with you all and with him, and please know that he made a big difference in my life. I will never forget his kindness.

Dr. Fitzpatrick was a great professor, I am very sad to hear of his passing as I am sure everyone who ever had the great pleasure to talk to him even for the briefest moment is. His work is a testament to his integrity as a person. He saw the World and tried to make it better by imparting his wisdom to his students. He valued the opinion of his students. He was a good man, and I shall miss him. My most heartfelt condolences to his family, and friends.
