Marcia  Reitz

 Marcia Reitz, age 72, of Heath Village, Hackettstown, NJ died Sunday, November 30, 2014 at home.  Marcia was born February 2, 1942 in Plainfield, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Otto and Dorothy (Dean) Von Sneidern.   

Marcia was active in the 1st Presbyterian Church of Boonton, NJ where she sang in the church choir. She was an avid reader and enjoyed tending her garden. Most of all Marcia enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband; Frank Reitz, 2 sons; Scott Quick and wife Colleen, Stephen Quick and wife Lisa, 1 daughter; Katharine Mastrantonio and husband Robert; 2 stepsons; William Reitz and wife Jan and Matthew Reitz, 8 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the 1st Presbyterian Church, 513 Birch Street, Boonton, NJ with the Rev. Jennifer VanZandt officiating.

I was totally shocked and saddened to hear of Marcia's death, but I'm so glad that Katharine phoned me. I have many happy memories of our families getting together, and outings (and Indian Guides), camping, frogs, and ice skating, with Katharine, Stephen, and Scott.Please accept my sincere condolences, Frank, and Katharine, Stephen,and Scott.
