late 1950's and 2 doors down on Mine Hill Rd. many funny times, adventures, and stories with "Johnny" during our grammar school days, He respected his parents very much and had such admiration for his Dad. It is not surprising to hear he grew to be a such a nice man too. So sorry he had to leave so soon. Rest in peace my old friend. tmr

I was saddened to hear of John's passing. He contributed many hours as a very helpful father and friend when Sean and Kyle were in my Boy Scout Troop #175 in Mansfield Township. Many cold, wet, and hot weekends were spent together as we guided the young men in the troop. John always offered all his talent and time, to teach our boys crafts and outdoor skills. My condolence to the family for their loss, Peace be with you all,and know that God is good, all the time. Philip Hammel

Bo & I have many great memories of John and the Mt. Lake General Store. He shared many old photographs of the lake area and was always on the lookout for arrowheads. Deepest sympathy to his family, he is fondly remembered.

To the family of John Niper, I'm so sorry to hear about John. He suffered for a long time. He was my neighbor. I will miss him a lot. He used to hang around with my brothers John and Ronnie Beers. When I made some soup or something John liked, I would always take some down to him. He was always so grateful, he would thank me over and over again ,He was a lovely man, who will be sadly missed. R.I.P.John.
