Born in Hatzfeld, Romania on November 3, 1926, she was the daughter of the late

Anna Schenk Becker and Philip Becker.  She came to the United States in 1955 and

lived in New Jersey for the next 32 years until she retired and then moved to Allentown,

Pennsylvania for the next 24 years only to return to Budd Lake, New Jersey until her

passing.  Barbara had a kind heart and was a selfless person.  She will be sorely 

missed by everyone that knew her especially her family. 

Surviving are her  husband of 68 years Jakob Wittwer, her son Walter A. Wittwer,

daughter Edeltrud K. Odeh, son Jack R. Wittwer, daughter Barbara A. Devlin;

a brother Richard P. Becker and seven grandchildren. 

A memorial will be held at a later date.

Any consideration of donations should be in her name to her favorite charity which was

St. Jude Children Hospital.
