I know from experience that a daughter is never ready to say good-by to her dad. It is comforting to me, to believe that we will meet again some day, some way. I hope you have happy memories of times shared to help you through the days ahead. As a member of Yellow Frame Church, where Henry was organist/choir director, I remember his dedication, his patience, his kindness to all who sang for him. Sincerely, Judy Shotwell

I am so very sorry for your loss and the loss of all who knew this sweet man. For many years I was a Private Duty Nurse for one of Henry’s neighbors. Henry was a close and good friend who frequently visited with this neighbor often bringing tasty homemade goodies. A favorite was Henry’s first class cheesecakes. One holiday he made one for me to take to my family. Holiday time he’d bring glazed nuts. How fortunate I feel to have known Henry. He’d come to apologize for practicing his keyboard too loud while we’d encourage him to play louder. One time he came in excited because he had just bought a Hyundai. He was so happy with it I went out the next day and bought one. I still have it 10 years later and thanked him several times for his recommendation. Henry will be missed by everyone who’s lives he has touched.
