Traditional
Burial: A viewing is followed by a funeral ceremony
and concluded by burial at the cemetery.
Direct Burial: Arrangements are made to inter
the deceased in a cemetery without having any funeral ceremony
or visitation.
Traditional Cremation: The cremation of the
deceased follows a viewing at the funeral home and traditional
funeral ceremony at the church or funeral home.
Direct Cremation: Very similar to direct
burial, the body is cremated immediately without any type
of viewing or funeral service being conducted. Direct cremation
is usually the most cost saving method of disposition.
Memorial Service: This service is usually
a gathering of the family and friends at the funeral home
without the body present. An actual viewing, burial or cremation
may have preceeded the memorial service.
