Edward Patz, age 89, of, Allamuchy Township, Great Meadows, NJ died Monday, May 14, 2012 at home in Great Meadows . Edward was born June 29, 1922 in Newark, NJ. He is the son of the late John H. and Mary (Takats) Patz. He was married to the late Josephine Joan (Vitale) Patz

Edward was employed by Ketchem & McDougall, Roseland NJ as a Supervisor in the tool and dye division.
Edward was of the Catholic Faith. Edward loved game shows, taking cruises and casino trips with his wife Josephine of 69 years. Edward greatest joy in life was his family, he loved being a father, grandfather and great grandfather, and tended to all their needs.

He is survived by; Daughter & Son In Law, JoAnne & Frank Johnson; Son & Daughter In Law, James & Elizabeth Taylor; Granddaughter & Husband, Jennifer & Tom Murray; Grandson & Wife, David & Kiha Baldwin; Grandchildren, Brian And Kristen Perry; Granddaughter & Husband, Karen & Adrian Perry-Korduba; Grandson & Wife, Jason & Jennifer Taylor; Grandson & Companion, Adam Taylor & Sabrina; Niece, Diane Gebhart; Great Nephews & Great Niece, Charlie, Elizabeth, and Ward; Good Friends, Jennifer, Angie and Pat; Great Grandson, Harrison James; Great Granddaughter, Alexis Grace Taylor; Great Grandchildren, Griffin, Tori And Cooper Murray; Great Grandchildren, Gabriel & Grace Baldwin.

Predeceased Brother, Eugene Patz.

The funeral will be held 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 16 at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Rev. Joseph McCarthy officiating.
