Ron was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He spent many happy hours outside perfecting the flower gardens and landscape of his home. Patty - I am so sorry to have just learned of Ron's passing last year. My thoughts and prayers are with you. We worked together for years at Mars and shared so many laughs together! He was a kind soul. One thing we did while working with the Visual FX team was to sign a VO2 Max flag with our names which a climber took to the top of Everest. So, Ron's name will forever be on top of the world!

Patty, Ethan, Sarah and family,
It is with great disbelief and sorrow that I heard of Ron's passing. He was a great friend at Mars, a kind neighbor, and a cool dude when we went to school. I will always have fond memories of Ron and will always cherish his friendship. I hope that you all will be blessed with loving memories to hold on to about Ron, and hold on to them during these times of sadness.
With all my heart,

Patty,
This is such a difficult and sad time for you and your children and family. Ron and I were desk neighbors and of course friends at Mars from the mid 90's to early 2000 when my husband was transferred to LA. I met you and you and your children a few times and remember you fondly. Ron shared so many of his family stories with our Visual FX team. He loved you and your children so much. He deeply cared for your happiness and well being of everyone. My thoughts are with you now. This is not easy but you will make it, the same I did when Chuck passed. Ron called me then to check on us. Know we all are heartbroken and think of you and your family ... and will forever remember Ron a.k.a "Buttman" who brought so much life and joy to our days at the office. Much love and strength to you and you close ones.
Very fondly,
Sandrine Ruchoux-Bishof

Patty, Ethan, and Sarah: Our thoughts are with you at the passing of your dear Father, my nephew Ron. A warrior in his battle. He made no complaints, ever, concerning his health to me. He always voiced confidence, and concern for those around him. We love you dearly, and will hold on to wonderful memories of you, and your family. Uncle Paul and aunt Joan.

Patty, we have been remembering all the fun we had in Greer, at your home in Maryland and here in Florida. Ron was not only a great friend, he was a caring friend. Whether watching out for Sue when Tom travelled, helping to install screen doors or texting about Giants football games, he always brought a smile with him and left it with us. Please give our condolences to your family especially Ethan, Sarah, Chris and his mom. We love you and will miss him forever.

Many a good soul is being recalled this month. I lost my dear high school friend to her 5 year battle with ovarian cancer last week. I am thankful to have met Ron and know that he will be cherished and loved just as much or more in his spiritual form. Let the angels sing for him now. Love to you and the extended family. Sue
