Robert P Smith
Died: Apr 6, 2020
1938 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Edmund and Viola (Tanner) Smith. In addition to his parents he
was preceded in death by his beloved wife Grace Ann Smith and son in-law Alexander E. Nowak.
Robert was employed by The New York Times as the manager of the Advertising Acceptability department.
He proudly served in the US Marine Corp from 1956 to 1958 and was a volunteer fire fighter in Dumont
NJ for many years. In addition he was a councilman for Allamuchy Township and a Eucharistic Minister
for the Good Shepard Church in Andover NJ.
Robert is survived by his three daughters Toni-Ann Pieschl and her Husband Paul, Marie Cooper and
husband Robert and Jennifer Nowak, five grandchildren Lauren, Lindsey, Robert, Charlotte, Victor and
great granddaughter Eloise.

Toni Ann, Marie and Jenny,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, we are so sorry for your loss. I loved Uncle Bob, he was a gentle giant. I have so many fond memories of him, always with a smile. God bless you and your families and stay well.

i am so very sorry for your loss. Your Dad was the kindest, sweetest man. I always enjoyed seeing him and "Gunny" come into the animal hospital.
