He served in the US Army during the Korean War from 1954 to 1956. He was the Owner/Operator of Souza, LLC, Wayne, NJ. Donald was a member of St. Jude’s Roman Catholic Church, Budd Lake, NJ, and enjoyed traveling the world. He was an avid singer; he took courses at the County College of Morris where he earned his Associates Degree in Music. One of his fondest memories was when he performed at Carnegie Hall, NYC years ago.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Joan Ballerin, Phoebe Souza, 2 dear friends; Trudy Bliesath and Thomas Romano; 2 grandchildren, Erica & A.J.
Predeceased by his daughter: Laura Souza.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Jude R.C. Church, 17 Mt Olive Road, Budd Lake, NJ on Saturday, March 29th, 2014 at 10:30 am, friends please meet at the church at 10 am.
