Ann Marie and family it was with great sorrow that we received the news's of Jimmy's death. Over the years so many good memories. The early years in Port Jervis, visits to NJ, family reunions and the wedding. We were so fortunate to get to visit with you and Jimmy in early October of this year. I will forever remember that van ride from the hotel to the Fiesta and Jimmy's words as he joked with the van driver. As you said Ann Marie, he never lost his sense of humor during his heroic struggle. Our love and deepest sympathy go out to you and your family at this time of great sorrow. God bless and peace be with you.

I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. My sympathies and prayers are with the Pentland family. I worked with Jim for many years at NJ Transit. He was a pleasure to work with and he taught me that paitients and attention to detial are major factors for sucess. Jim left a legacy here at NJ transit that will be remembered in the ET Department for many years to come.

Dear Anne Marie, Jimmy and Kimberly, I know that words are inadequate at a time like this but I wanted you to know how very sorry I am for your loss. The loss of a spouse and a father is a tragic event and I know the pain and suffering you are experiencing. It is times like this that our faith is put to the test. We know that we must accept his passing and give thanks for the wonderful life he lived. As sad as it will be, we will always have the memory of him to hold in our hearts. The Bible reminds us that "Blessed are those that mourn for they shall be comforted." I pray that this will be especially true for you as you mourn your loss. I pray that God will give you the strength to see you through this sad and difficult time. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all. In Faith & Sympathy, - Irene Byrne
