Paul Hiller died on Monday, October 8, following a brief illness. He was 91.
Mr Hiller and his wife, Elinor, were long-time residents of Oakland before retiring to Florida. In 2016, they returned to New Jersey to be closer to family.

Paul Hiller was born in Hudson County, New Jersey. He served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. He worked for many years as an international project manager for a global electronics firm, spending more than a decade in Kuwait.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Wayne and Wyatt, daughter Wendy Meyer, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren

A private memorial service is planned.
