Robert S. Lehman, age 58, of Hackettstown, NJ died Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at his residence. Robert was born April 7, 1954 in Morristown, NJ. He is the son of Marie (Vanderburgh) Lehman and the late Robert C. Lehman.

He was employed as a Licensed Plumber. He lived in Hackettstown, NJ coming from Portland, PA.
Robert was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Hackettstown, NJ. He was a member of the Portland Fire Dept. an E.M.T and member of the Rescue Squad. He loved to watch NASCAR races and was a Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan. He was a graduate of Hackettstown High School, Class of 1973.

He is survived by a son,Robert S. Lehman, Jr., Great Meadows, NJ; his mother Marie (Vanderburgh) Lehman, Hackettstown, NJ; four sisters, Sharon Ferriere, Panther Valley, Allamuchy Twp., NJ; Eleanor Lehman, Belvidere, NJ; Nancy Blake, Hackettstown, NJ and Tracy Bardyszewski, Hackettstown, NJ; Grandaughter , Madeline Lehman; predeceased by a brother, Timothy Lehman (Feb. 2012).

The funeral will be held 5:00 pm on Friday, September 28, 2012 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. Burial is private.
