Sylvie! The most genuine person I have ever met; to this day. You always made me my yellow cake with chocolate icing at work. You laughed when I sprayed sugar on my face by accident. Never let me live that down. I can still hear and see you laughing. You called me the day I gave birth to my son which I believe was a day after you had your son. ~ I know you will live in your children’s hearts their whole lives. And yes it was me who took off the box tops from your cereal boxes when you weren’t looking!

Sylvie, such a kind mother, sister, cousin, daughter, wife and aunt and great aunt. Hard working, devoted, helpful and very funny! May your soul be at peace. We will collectively hold you in our hearts and in our memories. My life was made better from having you be part of it.

Sylvie was my childhood soulmate. We connected on a very special level. More than a cousin, she was who I wished I could be. So special to anyone who knows her. My heart aches for my Tata Laurette and Ton Ton Jean, Lillian, Pierre, Linda and Robert, and for her beautiful children and husband Lance. We have all lost a beautiful angel on this Earth, but we know she is now among the angels in heaven where she is now free.
