Joseph M Rush, 91, of West Orange, NJ died Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Warren Haven Nursing Home, Oxford, NJ. Joseph was born March 24, 1921 in West Orange, NJ. He is the son of the late Thomas and Mary Ellen (Dempsey) Rush. He was married to the late Helen (Vojtek) Rush.

He served in the Army during World War II.
Joseph lived in West Orange, NJ all of his life. He was a parishioner of Our Lady Of Lourds, W. Orange, NJ; he was a member of the West Orange Senior Citizens; he enjoyed horse racing. Joseph worked for General Electric for many years before entering the U.S. Army during WW II. When he returned from the service he worked for the American Express Co. for several years. At the end of his career he worked  for Railway Express of Orange, NJ

He is survived by ; Brother Patrick and his wife Mary Rush; Nephews, Patrick Rush and Matthew Rush; and many more Nieces and Nephews; Great Niece, Brittaney. He was predeceased by  4 Brothers, Jack, Thomas, James And Martin Rush and  3 Sisters, Nellie, Katherine And Winifred.

A graveside service and burial will be held 12:00 pm on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, NJ

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St., Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
