Regina Frone, age 79, of Schooley’s Mountain, NJ, died Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at her home. Regina was born February 6, 1935 in Harbin China, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Helen Stepniak Poniatowski and was the oldest of eight children. Regina retired from A&P in August of 2014 after many years working as a clerk/cashier. Prior to A&P, she worked for Kapper’s Fuel Service in Hackettstown. Regina enjoyed gardening, shopping, doing arts & crafts and spoiling her grandchildren. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, George C. Frone, Sr., her son, George C. Frone, Jr. & his wife Linda, her daughter Debra M. Bergstol & her husband William, Her loving grandchildren, Joshua & Shannon Frone, Brian & Kristen Bergstol, Jaclyn & her husband John Goffredo and a great grandson, John Joseph Goffredo. Regina is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth Sparkes and her husband Jay. A brother, Stephen Poniatowski & his wife Jinxey. She is also survived by 13 wonderful nieces & nephews. Regina was predeceased by her sisters, Wanda Carpenter, Hedy Souders and Marie Poniatowski. Two brothers, Zygmunt & Ignacio Poniatowski. The Frone family wishes to extend a special thanks to Regina’s caregiver, Nino, for providing comfort to mom in her final days. Visitation will be on Friday, 12-5-14 from 4pm to 8pm at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St., Hackettstown, NJ., 07840. Funeral Services at the funeral home will be Saturday, 12-6-14 at 11:00am.
