Frank L. Munson, Jr., age 77, died Sunday, April 19, 2020 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Frank was born April 23, 1942 in Morristown, NJ. He is the son of the late Frank L. and the late Velma (Taylor) Munson.


Survived by his sister, Sharon Mulharin of Jefferson township with whom he resided, His best friend and beloved dog, Chuckles, whom he spoiled and played with all day. Frank had two predeceased sisters, Joyce Kennedy, Barbara Mellott (Finch Maiden name) a predeceased ex wife, Linda, formerly of Livingstonone one predeceased son Frank Munson , Niece, Melissa Malson of Oxford and her husband Joe. Their children Joseph and Jenna, and two Nephews Jesse and Cory Finch, one Brother Doug Sturtevant of Hackettstown. He is also survived by his children, Vanessa and Doug Sturtevant of Hackettstown, Rob Munson of Livingston and Laura Munson of Citrus Springs Fl, Ron Robertson of PA, and two Nephews, Tom Kennedy of Netcong, and Will Kennedy formerly of Hackettstown.

Frank was a popular and well known guy at Fresenius Kidney care in Kenvil, NJ where he attended dialysis 3 times a week for 12 years. He quickly became popular at any facility he was in during his 19 month long journey recovering following his leg amputation. Everyone knew Frank as he was easy going and always telling jokes. He also loved to soak up the Jersey sun and grow tomato plants. Michael J. Robba, 69, died unexpectedly due to COVID-19 on the 19th of April, 2020 in Parsippany, New Jersey.

Michael is survived by his mother, Ida Robba (Sewell), East Brunswick, New Jersey, his daughter Kimberly Schaffer and her husband Jason, Independence Township, New Jersey, his four grandsons Noah, Ari, Eden, and Ryan Schaffer, Independence Township, New Jersey, his sisters Dolores Ordille, Monroe Township, New Jersey, Patricia Nugent and her husband Don, Lawrenceville, New Jersey, and Barbara Dipierro and her husband William Jr., Monroe Township, New Jersey, his brother Steven Robba, South Plainfield, New Jersey, as well as, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father James Robba and his wife Shelley Robba (Rieser).

Michael was born on March 25, 1951 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to James and Ida Robba. He graduated from East Brunswick High School and went on to study pre-med at Fairleigh Dickinson University before working for Bristol-Myers Squibb as a senior supervisor. He married Shelley Rieser in 1974 and over time had a daughter Kimberly. His daughter remembers him as a quiet yet extroverted, intelligent, humorous, kind, and gentle person. He had a wise guy sense of humor and perfect smile. Music was the essence of his being. He played the saxophone, guitar, and tinkered with the autoharp. He was devoted to his loving wife Shelley and took care of her during her battle with cancer.

Dorothy Martha Moore, age 97, of Hackettstown formerly of Clifton died Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Paragon Village Assisted Living of Hackettstown, NJ. Dorothy was born November 15, 1922 in Hackensack, NJ to the late Gustave and Sarah (Richmond) Peterson. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles Wesley Moore, Sr., her daughter Dorothy Bucsko, and her sister Selma Anderson.
She is survived by her daughter, Alice Hudson and her husband Bruce, her two sons, Charles W. Moore, Jr. and his wife Sheila McDonough, William F. Moore and his wife Jessica, six grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
Dorothy worked as a typist for Western Electric in New York City during WWII. She married her high school sweetheart, on September 2, 1945 at Carlstadt Baptist Church, the day General MacArthur accepted the Japanese surrender on the battleship Missouri. Their marriage lasted over 61 years, until the Lord called Wes home at 87 years old on December 6, 2006.
Dorothy enjoyed wool hooking, making beautiful rugs and decorative pieces. She delighted in traveling in the United States, particularly trips to the National Parks. Dorothy was active in the nursery and ladies groups at Brookdale Baptist Church for many years. She got her driver’s license at age 50. Dorothy was known for her smile and joyful attitude.
She will be missed by all her knew her.
A burial will take place at a later date at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Cemetery, for the family.

Sylvester Jackson (“Jack”) Bowlin, loving father and husband passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 11, 2020. Jack is survived by his wife Laurian, his three children, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two sisters.
Born in Afton, TN Jack was a long term resident of Dante VA, Paramus NJ, Merrillville IN, McHenry IL and of late, Hackettstown, NJ. Upon graduating from high school, Jack proudly enlisted in the US Navy at age 17 and served on the USS Nicholas during World War II. He participated in the Asian Campaign and American Campaign, and was a recipient of several ribbons and citations. His time in the Navy shaped him as a man and was one of his proudest accomplishments. He was also a proud member of The American Legion, Post 164.
Jack cherished his wife Laurian Frances Connors, whom he married upon leaving the Navy. Whenever asked about his wife, Jack would say “She is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen”. He was the proud father to John Bowlin of Florida (whose wife is Barbara), Bob Bowlin of New Jersey (whose wife is Nancy) and Cindy Bowlin of New Jersey. He was also the proud grandfather to Craig , JD and Megan Bowlin, and great-grandfather to Jackson, Addison, Layla, Emery and Tyler Bowlin. Jack would brag about his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to anyone who would listen. He was also brother to the late Mary Willis, June Poe, Norma Worsfold and James Bowlin, and is survived by sisters Thelma Cline and Opal Salyer.
He worked for UniLever for 40+ years before retiring in 1989, and always spoke highly of his experiences there and of the men and women with whom he worked. In his spare time, he loved being with family, reading, winning at dominoes and working in the yard.
Internment and a Celebration of Jack’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to: The American Legion Veterans & Children Foundation or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Vincent Rocco Abatemarco, 65, of Allamuchy, NJ, died on Monday, April 6, 2020, at Hackettstown Medical Center after a brief battle with the COVID-19 disease. Born on January 10, 1955, in Munich, Germany to Thomas and Margaretha (Bauer) Abatemarco, he moved with his parents and brothers to the United States in 1961 at age six, traveling aboard the S.S. America. Vinny’s father, who had worked for Radio Free Europe after serving in the United States Army in France and Germany, returned to his native New York City to work for Time magazines. The family settled in Englewood, NJ, after a brief stay in Brooklyn, NY. Vinny attended Roosevelt School in Englewood and St. John the Evangelist School in Leonia, NJ before graduating from Dwight Morrow High School in Englewood. He also attended Northampton Community College.

Vinny married the love of his life Geraldine (Geri) Burns on November 13, 1976 in Leonia, NJ and moved to Cliffside Park, NJ before residing in Bergenfield, NJ, Stroudsburg, PA, and most recently Panther Valley in Allamuchy, NJ. He was a devoted husband and father, and a good friend to many. Extremely generous with his time, he always lent a hand when needed as he was very handy and could solve any problem. He had a fun-loving sense of humor that he freely shared. An avid traveler, he traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia for business but particularly enjoyed vacations with Geri in Palm Springs, California and Palm Beach, Florida. He also enjoyed a life-long interest in photography, relaxing poolside with a good book, grilling for his family (cheeseburgers being a specialty), and his beloved dog Sammy.

He spent the early part of his career in movie theater management before spending the following 37 years in the international cargo-container industry, most recently as Terminal Manager for Integrated Industries, where he specialized in the large-scale modification of shipping containers to specialized uses, including his management of the buildout of Island Oyster on Governors Island in New York Harbor. Prior to that, he was with Intermodal Transportation Services, a division of GAB Business Services; Unicon International of San Francisco; Italian ocean carrier Lloyd Trestino; and TRS Container Services.

Vinny was predeceased by his parents, brother Michael and sister-in-law, Kathy. He is survived by his beloved wife, Geri, their two daughters, Christine and Denise, daughter-in-law Jessica Dawes, brother John Abatemarco, nieces Tatiana Jenss, Nicole Caraballo, and Tiffany Abatemarco as well as two grand nieces and two grand nephews. He was looking forward to welcoming his first grandson in July 2020.

A mass of Christian burial and funeral services will be held at the Church of Good Shepherd in Andover, NJ on a later date when friends and family may safely gather to pay their respects. Internment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, New Jersey. Memorial donations in Vinny’s honor can be made to the American Cancer Society.
