Dear Family,
I was saddened to hear of Howard's passing. He was a dear friend and classmate for many, many years. My sincere condolences to Anne, his wife, and his entire family. Howard will always have a loving place in my heart. We had been close friends for 66 years. The times in Hackettstown and here in Florida is implanted in my memory of happy times. May the good Lord keep you safe and give you peace my friend.

So sorry to the entire Burd Family for the lost of a great man, I worked for him in 1969 after high school before going in business with my father in-law. I used him as a business role model and followed his honest approach to his customers and workers! He will be missed by many!

It is with great sadness we learned of Howard's passing. He was a friend of over 75 years, a classmate, a successful businessman and one of the true gentlemen of our era. Our sincere condolences to Anne his wife, and his family. He will certainly be missed by many. Sail on Captain and good friend.

He was a wonderful loving man in our life ! And we know he is with God resting in Peace forever. We are so sorry to all of our family and friends who were also well connected to Howard in there lives !
