Did not get to know my cousin Patty until I was 10 and she was 11; we lived on separate coasts until I moved to Belleville. As her obituary mentions, she was born in San Diego, probably on the Naval base. I did not know that. I lived on the base till I was 5, and I am now wondering if we were there at the same time! Our fathers were Montclair State graduates, did Naval OCS school together at Notre Dame, and served as officers in WWII and Korean War. I (and great Aunt Josephine ;-) will always remember Patty's wedding! Unfortunately, I left Belleville after 12th grade and pretty much lost touch. Our last time together was when I went to NJ for her 70th birthday, but she was ill, the party was cancelled and I visited her in the hospital. I was there a long time and we shared many, mostly funny, memories. Condolences to Joey, Nicky, Ellen, Patty's children and grandchildren, and all our shared cousins. God bless Patty!
