Dear Mr. Roger,
So sorry to hear about Miriam. We remember you fondly as neighbors in NJ. We have enjoyed keeping up with you over the years. We remember that you hiked off the AT to our cabin in NC and left us a note even though we weren't there at the time. Our wife/Mom went to sleep in Jesus on March 11, 2019. We look forward to seeing Miriam and Leola soon on the resurrection morning!
Love, Joe Cote, Becky, Bill and Family

I have such lovely memories of Miriam and Roger. First as our neighbors here in Basking Ridge and in Saint John Cinnamon Bay Campground and in Florida too. We always enjoyed our times together. Miriam was always a happy person and a joy to be with. My condolences to all the family.

Miriam was a popular member of our hiking club. She blew in like a fresh wind, wanting to know all about hiking. She hiked with us in New Jersey, New York, The White Mountains of NH, Mount Katahdin in Maine - she did it all. Happy memories of good times with great friends.

If there ever was a true Love Story it was between Mom Miriam and Dad Roger. Watching the two of them together was like watching a ballet so beautifully performed. Mom taught us all the meaning of Unconditional Love and that Love has many meanings. Mom will always be deeply Loved and Forever Missed.
So sorry Roger there is nothing I can say at this time but you will be in my prayers

Dear Roger,
I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I will always remember the fun days I had staying with you and Miriam, with my parents, alone or with my friends. You two were always so welcoming and you always made your home my home whenever I visited. Miriam's good spirits and love of life will always be with me and inspire me for my own life. She will be missed and always remembered! Love from Germany to you. Dirk
