Kent D. Hobokan
Died: Oct 6, 2019
Kent was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was passionate about music, specifically Rock and Roll with his favorite band being Pink Floyd. Kent had an amazing dog growing up, a Shepard/Collie mix named Pax and could often been seen walking to Leo’s Luncheonette with her by his side. Kent held various jobs including working a hotline at Kean College and several years employed at Waterloo Village.
Kent is predeceased in death by sister Kandy and survived by wife Marilyn of Somerset NJ, brothers Keith and Kurt, sisters Karyl, Kourtney and Klaudia, and several nieces and nephews.
A family service will be held at Forest Manor in November. In lieu of flowers please send cards to our brother Keith Hobokan, Forest Manor, PO Box 283, Hope NJ 07844 and/or make a donation to the Cerebral Palsy of North Jersey, 220 South Orange Ave, Suite 300, Livingston, NJ 07039 (please reference Kent Hobokan)

Hearing of Keith's death today, I also want to express my sympathy to you in losing Kent, but also the hope of glory in Christ, and of seeing Kent and Keith in the Heavenly realms. I well remember Kent's faithful presence at Trinity Church, his smile, his helpfulness. I was blessed to know him.

Kent was my first Hoboken and a person I'll never forget. We had a date planned for when we turned 98, so sorry we'll miss it. Love to all of you, you're my best thoughts and memories of Hackettststown

I was a school friend of Kent’s, always enjoyed time spent together at HHS.
Kent had an infectious smile and was full of good cheer.

To the Hobokans. We are sorry to hear of Kent's passing. We're praying the Lord comforts your family. Kent was a good friend, my best friend and our Best Man.
As time goes by, the sad memory of his passing will fade, but the good, warm and fun memories will be with us forever. God bless you, and may the Lord hold Kent close in his arms for he endured so much here on earth.

God bless. Kent was a good friend to our niece Tammy Cullen who passed away in 1999. He was a great guy. Prayers for the family.

Dear Hobokan Family
My Wife Robin and I are so sorry to hear of our great friend and Brother in Christ Kent's Home going, and will miss our visits at Forrest Manor.
I know there are no words to comfort you all, and though we know He really Truly is Home with the LORD, it still hurts severely to say good by for now.
May The LORD Comfort You All As HE Alone Can Through Christ Jesus Our LORD.
