Patricia Thiede, 85, of Hackettstown, N.J., died Saturday July 7, 2012 at Heath Village, Hackettstown, N.J..  Born May 12, 1927 in Plainfield, N.J. she was the daughter of the late Emil R. & Frieda Gunther Brunner. She  has lived in Hackettstown for the past 5 yrs. moving from North Carolina and prior to that, Westfield, N.J..

Patricia donated countless hours as a volunteer at Craven County Regional Medical Center, New Bern, N.C. and enjoyed various arts & crafts.  She was a very social person in her community, but her true love was being surrounded by her family.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert V. Thiede who died August 1, 2002. She is survived by her loving family;

 Sons - Daniel (Regina) Thiede, Oxford, N.J.,  Eric (Lynda) Thiede, Kingwood, Tx.,  Gary (Eileen) Thiede, Belmar, N.J..  Daughter - Carol (John) Hudak, Bayonne, N.J.   Four loving Grandchildren Stephen Thiede, Gary Thiede, Jr., Laura (Andrew) Hoefel, Brian Thiede and 1 Step Granddaughter, Allison (Mike) Mastrogiacomo. 1 Great Grandchild, Emma Rose Hoefel and 1 Step Great Grandchild, Brody Mastrogiacomo. She is predeceased by a brother, Robert Brunner.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, 7-10-12 at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. 07840 from 2-4 & 7-9pm with Funeral Services at 8:00pm.  Graveside Services will be on Wednesday, 11AM at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, N.J..  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.cochranfuneral.com.
