Dorothy Louise Carpenter of Port Charlotte, FL and formerly Hackettstown, NJ died November 14, 2017. Per her request, Louise will be buried next to her beloved husband, James Carpenter who died March 5, 2002. She is survived by her son, Jay Carpenter of Bangor, PA and her daughter, Diane Holland of Great Meadows, NJ. Louise lived in Florida with her loving companion, Edward Meeker. It was Louise's final wish to see her children one last time before her passing which, unfortunately, this did not happen. A Memorial services will be held at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, hackettstown, NJ on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 1:30 pm. Jay and Diane...my deepest sympathy to you both and your families; I'll miss her too. Cheerful thoughts and memories of your mother will always accompany me during my future travels on Alphano Road and as I pass her home, a peaceful wave and acknowledgement will be given.
