 Barbara L. Harris, age 80, of Hackettstown died Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Warren Haven Nursing Home, Oxford, NJ.  Ms. Harris was born January 23, 1937 in New York City, NY. She was the daughter of the late George and Olga (Sontag) Soper. 

She was previously employed by Dillard's Department Store, Florida as a Saleswoman. Barbara was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and loved her pet Cockatiel birds.   

Barbara is survived by her 3 devoted sons, Kevin Harris and wife Nancy, Shawn Harris, Morgan Harris and wife Yvonne, 6 cherished grandchildren, Kevin Jr., Conor, Christopher, Colleen, Meghan and Patrick.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am on Friday, July 28 at Pequest Union Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Great Meadows, NJ.  Burial will follow.

 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, Memorial Processing Center, 6725 Lyons Street PO Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057 in memory of Barbara
