Fred F. Galione, age 88, a longtime resident of Hackettstown died Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ. Fred was born March 27, 1927 in Union City, NJ. He is the son of the late John and Mary (Mueller) Galione. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Doris Rae and 2 brothers; William and John. He served in the US Navy during World War II. Fred was employed by Schweber Electronics, Fairfield, NJ as their General Manager for many years before retiring. He was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking and had a great sense of humor. He is survived by his daughter; Patricia "Trish" Galione, 1 son; William "Bill" Galione and wife Helen, 1 stepson; Michael Malone, 1 daughter in law; Eleanor Malone, 1 sister; Marion Sickles, 4 grandchildren; Kristen Judson and her husband Scott, Michelle Galione, Michael and Shannon Malone. Visiting hours will be Sunday, June 21 from 2:30-4:30 pm and 6:30-8:30 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ, and services will begin at 8:00 pm with Ruthann Brown officiating. Burial will be in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown on Monday, June 22 at 2:00 pm. Dear Trish,
We are so sad about the passing of your Dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family as you go through this most difficult time.
