He worked as an Electrician with I.B.E.W. Local 52/164 for 40 years. Al was married to Joyce (Waywell) Arnold for 45 years, they raised their family in Budd Lake, NJ. His hobbies included spending time on Lake Hopatcong in his boat, and flying RC airplanes. He enjoyed being a member of Top O NJ, RAMAC and GCA flying clubs.
Al is survived by his wife: Joyce, his son Tom and wife Lenore, his daughter Karen and husband Kevin. He was an amazing grandfather to his 3 grandchildren; Nora, Jake and Victoria, the pride and joy of his life. He is also survived by his sister, Anita Nurge and her husband Bill and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Cochran Funeral Home 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Judes R.C. Church, Budd Lake, NJ on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 10 am.
Cremation will be private.
