Joseph L. Mancini, 95, of Andover, NJ passed into eternal life on October 23, 2018.
Joseph received his sacraments through the Roman Catholic Church and was a lifelong disciple of Christ Jesus. He resided in Brooklyn, NY then journeyed to Wayne, NJ and was married to Hazel Russell in 1991 eventually moving to Andover in 2013 where he became a parishioner at the Good Shepherd R.C. Church.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Hazel Mancini of over 30 years and surviving are his stepchildren, William, Clifford, Curtis and Lauren,10 loving grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Joseph joined the Navy during World II and served honorably in the Pacific Theater as a Quartermaster First Class and after his discharge, worked for the NY court system his entire career.  Joseph loved a good laugh and was always ready with joke, Wood Eye, Wood Eye, was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, loved horse racing at the Meadowlands Caribbean poker at the Casino, and was lifelong NY Mets Fan enjoying the game of baseball more than most.
He was a kind and faith driven person who cared deeply for his wife and family.

Visiting will be Friday October 26th at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street Hackettstown, NJ from 4-8 pm with a Funeral Mass on Saturday October 27, 2018 at 10:30 am at Good Shepherd R.C. Church. Please meet at church, interment to follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery, located on Airport Road in Green Township. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to the Good Shepherd R.C. Church in Andover NJ. or the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org), 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Uncle Joey we all loved you and will be missed you were my favorite uncle of all your brothers I remember when we went to see the N Y Mets at Shea stadium together those were some fond memories I will always remember about you Rest in peace Uncle Joe
