Marcus A. Hoffman, 82, of Frelinghuysen Twp., NJ passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center with his loving family at his bedside. Born September 22, 1933 in Dover, NJ, Marcus was the son of the late Amzie & Mabel Hoffman.

Marcus has lived at Forest Manor, Frelinghuysen Twp., NJ for the past three years coming from Carbondale, PA. He had retired several years ago from Sears in the state of  Delaware. Marcus was proud to have served our country for 13 years with the National Guard and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. In addition, Marcus worked as a Special Police Officer in Randolph Twp., NJ.

Mr. Hoffman is survived by one son, Mark Allen Hoffman of Emmaus, PA; Two daughters, Donna Kappes of Carbondale, PA and Robin Deluca of Mansfield Twp. NJ; One brother, Les Mills of Hackettstown, NJ and one sister, Barbara Kerr of Belvidere, NJ. Also surviving are many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marcus was predeceased by his loving wife, Connie Snyder Hoffman in 2006.
