Reina Mae Huffman, 78, of New Port Richey, FL passed away Thursday evening, October 30, 2014. She was the youngest child of Chester and Bessie Garris, born on October 31, 1935 in Blairstown, NJ. Graduate of Hackettstown High School. Married Arthur N. Huffman and they had three children. They moved from Hackettstown, NJ to the Tampa Bay, FL area in 1981 where they lived out their final years together. Survivors include daughter and son in-law Deborah & John Handelong of New Port Richey, FL, son and daughter in-law Hallis & Sheryl Huffman of Palm Harbor, FL, daughter Donna Hause of Zephryhills, FL, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and niece Francis Hubert and family. Graveside services will be held at Cedar Ridge Cemetary, Blairstown, NJ at 2 PM on November 22, 2014, followed by a gathering at Mattars Bistro, Allamuchy, NJ. Contributions may be made to HPH Hospice Foundation, ATTN: Donations, 12107 Majestic Blvd, Hudson, FL 34667, The American Diabetes Association, or local animal shelter of your choice. The family is deeply grateful to the Marliere Hospice Care Center and Oakview Terrace Assisted Living for their compassionate care of Reina.
