Robert W. Thomas, Sr., age 66, of Hackettstown formerly of Livingston, NJ died Thursday, December 25, 2014 at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, NJ. Robert was born August 30, 1948 in Orange, NJ. He was the son of the late Peter and Gloria (Pepe) Thomas.
He was the Owner/Operator of Bob Thomas Auto Sales, Livingston NJ for many years before retiring. Robert was an avid antique collector and enjoyed spending time with his loving grandchildren.
He is survived by his son; Robert Thomas, Jr. and wife Kimberly, 2 sisters; Gloria Thomas, Agnes Thomas, 2 brothers; John Thomas, Peter Thomas Jr., 1 granddaughter; Alexa,
The funeral service will be held 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ. Cremation is private
Visitation hours will be Tuesday, December 30 from 4:00 - 8:00PM at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.

Bob and I spent 20 years in a close partnership and 10 yrs as close friends. We both loved Szuki Davis, my gorgeous Samoyed. Bob & I shared years of fun antiquing, vacationing, exploring country roads etc. You could say that our communication was almost psychic at times. Despite some bumps in the road, it was a dynamic, at times fun filled and definitely interesting journey. RIP Bob...you were a pitivol person in my life and I will never forget you.
