I am extremely saddened by this news. Janet and Roger where there for me at a time in my life when I really needed family and they were a source of happiness, light, and were a blessing and joy to be around. I miss them both dearly. Rest in peace.

I only knew Janet for a short time. I met her soon after she got together with my father, Roger Sassin.
It really is something, when two people meet, and complement and complete each other. I’m glad that I had the chance to witness such a perfect union. Janet will be greatly missed. All of us that knew her, got to share in her happiness and her love for friends and family.

Janet was a wonderful friend to me during our high school years and many years after. We were on the track team together and I have many fond memories of good times spent with Janet. Although she will be missed by many, I do believe she is at peace now and with those she loves. I send my deepest sympathy to Janet's family. Sincerely, Janice Baunach
