Rita Joan Barry, 84, of Hope, NJ passed away surrounded by her loving family at Forest Manor of Hope, NJ on December 23, 2015. Born August 10, 1931 in the Bronx, NY, Rita was the daughter of the late Thomas & Rose Etta Rogers Barry. She has lived in Hope for several years coming from Summit, NJ.
Before her retirement many years ago, Rita was employed as an office manager with Western Union in Manhattan, NY.
Rita is survived by Four Children, Regina Clark, Joan Murphy, William M. Murphy, Jr. and his wife, Debbie, and Rhonda Sturm and her husband, Michael; Eight loving Grandchildren; Kelly Murphy, John Guise, Jr., Rachael Murphy, Tyler Clark, Brianna Murphy, Ian Murphy, Brandon Sturm & Sean Sturm and seven Great Grandchildren; Cole, Forest, Steven, Lauren, Trevor, Jack & Addyson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Raymond's Church, Bronx, NY on Saturday, January 9th at 9:45 am with burial to follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery also in the Bronx, NY.
