Anthony S. “Pappa Tony” Settembre, 93 of Paramus, NJ passed away at Valley Hospital, Paramus, NJ on Tuesday, October 10, 2017. Born November 20, 1923, Anthony was the son of the late Fiorevante & Philomena Constaneino Settembre. Mr. Settembre proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Mr. Settembre is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Evelyn. Three children, Phyllis (Charlie) Barber of Hackettstown, NJ; Fiore (Jeannie) Settembre of Sparta, NJ & Anthony (Diane) Settembre of Loveland, Ohio. Beloved Grandchildren, Jessica (Matt) Lamb, Greg (Val) Barber, Trina (Chris) Moroni, Steven (Stacey) Barber, Corey Barber, Julia (Marvin) Ma, Lauren (Andrew) Watson, Michael (Leah) Settembre, Robert Settembre, Christine (Cliff) Desso, Marie (Andrew) Henn, Paul Settembre and Anthony Settembre.  Loving Great Grandchildren, Tim, Madison, Morgan, Cayla, Tyler, Brianna, Charlie, Gabriella, Jeremy, Joshua, Kristen (Paul) Bridgham, James, Daniel, Matthew, Drew, Anthony, Noah, Jacob, Brooklyn, Mia, Cliff,  Caylee, Briella, Andrew & Easton.  Great Great Grandchildren, Riley & Eljah. Viewing hours will be on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00pm at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ, 07840. Funeral services will be on Friday, at the funeral home at 10:00am. Interment with military honors will follow at the Forrest Green Park Cemetery, Marlboro Township, NJ. The Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ is in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.cochranfuneral.com.

This godly man Anthony S. Settembre leaves an inheritance of moral stability and goodness to his children's children's children. A great gain for Heaven and a tremendous loss to all who know him as papa Tony and prayers for the entire family.

Fiore, Jeannie and extended family - what an amazing family was started and head by Anthony and Evelyn! Your dad's legacy is great indeed. This man surely loved and was loved by many people in his long life. I'm so sorry for his loss to all of you and especially to your mom, Evelyn. May our Heavenly Father bless you and give you comfort in His love and the eternal promises of His son Jesus.

Dear Settembre Family, our deepest sympathy to you all. To Evelyn and children - Phyllis, Fiore, and Anthony and your extended families It has been a privilege and delight to know your Father who was so proud of his family. He so very much enjoyed talking with my Dad Lawrence who was in the U.K. Royal Navy. May we all enjoy 'Sweet memories' of precious time shared together. They live in in our Hearts!
