August "Augie" Binder
Died: Dec 21, 2014
He served in the United States Reserves from 1955 - 1963. Augie owned and operated the Bee-Line Fuel Company, Port Murray, NJ for many years before retiring. He served his community as Mayor of Mansfield Township several times and was a Mansfield Township Committeeman and member of the Tri-County Fire Department. Augie enjoyed his work, farming, restoring homes but most of all he loved and cherished his family.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years: Helen (Beers) Binder; 1 son; August and his companion Kim Brown-Bodamer; 1 daughter; Lisa Hill and husband Brian; 2 grandchildren; Sarah and Matthew Hill.
He is the son of the late Carl and Loretta (Croswell) Binder. Augie is also predeceased by 2 sisters: Loretta and Evelyn.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Pastor Paul Wells officiating. Burial will be in Hackettstown Union Cemetery, Hackettstown following services.
Visitation hours will be Tuesday, December 23, 2014 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ. Online condolences may be made at www.cochranfuneral.com

Our thoughts & prayers are with your family. Mr. Binder and Bee-Line was our family's oil supplier for many years, but more than that he and my father, Fred McPeak really became friends. He was a very kind man and will be missed very much.

My Wife Robin & I are very sorry to hear of Mr. Binder's passing.
Mr. Binder was someone I personally was proud to have known, and he sure will be missed.
