Linda was a dear friend. We grew up in Rockport together after my parents moved there in 1968 from Beattystown. I lost track of her when I moved away but bumped into her several times in Hackettstown over the years. I can't believe she is gone, frankly way too soon. Like some have expressed on this thread, she was very positive and upbeat and had a "bubbly" personality. Condolences to the family. Peter Shatner

Linda was a substitute teacher when I was in middle school in the 90's. She was one of our favorite substitutes. Throughout the years I would run into her and Glenn In Kohls, at the restaurant where I waitressed for a short time, around town. She was always such an amazing, happy, upbeat person. We always said we would get together for dinner or drinks sometime, and Im so sorry that life got in the way and that it never happened. Linda, you made such an impact on all who knew you. My deepest sympathy for Glenn and the Burk family. Linda was a very special person. May she rest in peace

I'm so sorry for you Glen and for the rest of the family. To know Linda was to love her. She was one of the most interesting and talented people that I ever knew and I never got tired of hearing her talk and was always amazed at her knowledge of so many things. I knew her since we were kids growing up in mansfield and then at WHR. She was a sparkling treasure and I will always miss her. God bless and my Sympathy

Linda was one of the most special people my folks and I ever met. We've known her since 2003-2004 when she worked at the Warren County Library and we immediately forged a lifelong friendship. She was almost like an aunt to me personally and could always find ways to inspire me. Heck, being in her presence was inspiring in and of itself. She had one of those once in a lifetime personalities that very few people have and never had a bad thing to say about anyone even if they wronged her in some way. Our deepest condolences, thoughts, prayers, love, and hugs to Glenn and the family Greg, Lisa, and Will Daye

I have just learned of the passing of Linda we attended Warren Hills together and we were friends and I am truely saddened. My condolences to her husband Glenn , family ,and all who have known Linda. After graduating I stopped by on rock port road to visit almost 30 years ago. We talked and I remember Linda telling her mother about me and how shy I was back then. She did not change a bit and she continued to be a rock star .Unfortunately I am over in the Middle East and cannot attend the services. Again my sincerest condolences I know Linda will rock the heavens. God Bless.
