Mary J. Beam, age 69, of Hackettstown, NJ formerly of Allamuchy died Wednesday, November 25, 2015. Mary was born December 22, 1945 in Washington, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Abram K. and Almeda (Crowell) Metzgar, Sr. In addition to her parents Mary is preceded in death by her husband; Walt Beam.
She was employed as greeter at the Walmart, Mansfield NJ. Mary loved to cook and was an avid reader. She especially loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her 4 sons; Steven Strowbridge, Philip Strowbridge and wife Erin, Kenneth Strowbridge and wife Jody, Robert Strowbridge, 3 sisters; Hester Perrell, Ruth Wildrick, Helen Zamoro, 2 brothers; Abram Metzgar, Walter Metzgar and 7 grandchildren.
Services and cremation are private.
