Dear Family, My name is Dorina ~ my mother is your Uncle Walter's daughter Cherie. We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. My mother's mom passed last year too. I had hoped to connect with Chuchie Theresa as my mom called her, one day, but regret that I am too late. It's wonderful to see what a highly regarded and beloved woman she was. If you would like to connect and share any stories of the Boris family, please do email me at amendola@marywood.edu. We would be thrilled to hear from you. Have a blessed Easter season. Dorina Amendola P.s. To the funeral home: if you can pass this message to the family, you do not need to post it online. Thank you.

Ma Ragusky was exceedingly kind and encouraging to me as I grew up, and an ardent fan and supporter of all of us from grade school through HHS graduation on the basketball court and baseball field. Her care for others was constant and genuine. Rest in Peace, Mrs. Ragusky, and God Bless You, Ray, Carol, and Marty.

Dear Martin, Sending you prayers at this difficult and a saying a rosary for your Mom. I remember when I first learned to drive, and came to her corner.. I didn't know if I was supposed to go in front of her or in back of her. I started one way, then the other. She stopped the whole intersection, gave me a look and pointed me in front of her. Good memories of growing up in a small town, where people use their talent and personality to help us all. God Bless your mom. K

Theresa Ragusky has grandchildren and great-grandchildren listed along with surviving family members, but she had many more she not only supervised crossing the street at Washington St. and Center Street, but she seemed to love those children and they loved her. We loved her because we knew our children were not only safe, but she greeted them also, and even their parents when they would pass by her station. What a blessing she was to this town and I speak for all of my children , when I send our most sincere condolences to her surviving family. God grant you the comfort only He can give. Barbara Wallace

Dear Carol, Ray, Martin and families, We were greatly saddened to hear of the passing of your mother. For me personally, she made it possible to get through the worst year with her kindness talking to a little 2nd grade boy every day who dreaded what he was going to go through at school. I will never forget her kindness, her ever present smile, and even 50 years later, when I would stop back on business trips, she always had a smile and a hug. She was the only person who called me Timmy and I always loved to hear her voice say it. What a special, loving person. May the Lord grant you all His peace during this time of personal grief. Dear Ragusky Family My Wife Robin and I are so sorry to hear of Mrs. Ragusky's passing, and wow such memories and what Hackettstown Kid did not have them of your Mom. Mrs. Ragusky was far more than a Crossing Guard, She was a Shepherd defending Her little ones, as you knew you would be safe at the Corner of Washington and Center Street one of the busiest and yet handle with such confidence that crossing that intersection was the safest part of our Walk to school. I pray the LORD will grant you all the comfort only HE can provide, through Christ our LORD. GOD Bless you all Paul & Robin Wallace
