Grzegorz "Greg" Gubernat
Died: Mar 11, 2019
Greg was employed by Food Haulers Incorporated Company, Elizabeth, NJ. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, Local #863. He loved playing and watching soccer with his son, their favorite team is the NY Red Bulls. Greg was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Church, Great Meadows, NJ and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his two children, Daniel and Emma.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Magdalena (Baran) Gubernat , his cherished son and daughter, Daniel and Emma, his loving parents, Jozef and Irena (Ostrowska) Gubernat, a brother, Marcin Gubernat and wife Magdalena, a sister-in-law, Izabella Goralczyk and husband Rafal, father and mother in-law, Stanislaw and Bronislawa Baran, nieces and nephews, Zosia, Adam, David, Maximilian and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 12:00 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, 360 US Hwy 46, Great Meadows, NJ with Father Grzegorz "Greg" Podsiadlo officiating. Burial will follow at Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows.
Visitation will be Friday, March 15, 2019 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ. Online Condolences may be posted at www.cochranfuneral.com

So sad to hear Greg passing away. So young. I can’t believe it. Greg was such a good guy. Very hard worker. I was fortunate to have worked with Greg at Kelloggs. Prayers to Greg’s family and many friends. Just so full of life. RIP Greg

Can’t imagine how all of you feel right now after such of loss that infortunally touched your lives! I’ve never had a chance to meet Greg but I’m sure he was a terrific guy since he was knowned and loved by so many people! Specially by his beloved wife Magda! Greg use to come every morning to Newark to get a trailer with us to be delivered to Elizabeth. He always came with a smile on his face and was also very polite. Everybody at our office liked to work with him because of his personality. He will be greatly missed. Go in peace Greg.
