I knew Ms. Morrissey way back when students learned how to tell time via analog clocks and communicated with cursive writing. To this day I recall her kindness and dedication. She was my second grade teacher at John Fitch Elementary school in Levittown, PA.

My sympathy to Gwen and her family. I know you were very close. I hadn't heard from Jeannine so decided to do a search. I've known Jeannine since 1954 when we taught in the same school in Levittown, Pa. I will miss her emails..

Aunt Jeanine was a lot of fun. I do remember many of her stories and visits from when I was a kid. I did within the last couple of years reconnect with her though mail and phone. It was good to talk with her. She enjoyed hearing about our boys, especially about Jason being an aerospace engineer Sorry we couldn't make the memorial. She will be missed.

We met Jeannine and Dick in the early 1990s when we were members of a local amateur radio club. Jeannine was an accomplished educator who gave so much to her community. She was an extraordinary woman. Our condolences to her family and friends.

By far Mrs. Duane was the teacher who made the biggest impact on me as a child. Her enthusiasm, encouragement, humor, and true love of teaching is something I will never forget. Even as a 3rd grader, I knew she was someone very special. I am sad that I did not have the chance to keep in touch with her through the years, but I know her memory will live on in the thousands of young lives that she touched, including mine. My condolences to her family and friends.

Aunt Jeannine was so much fun. I loved hearing her stories. We would be on the phone for hours, just listening to her stories. I’m so glad I was able to visit her the last time I went up through New Jersey. She showed me all kinds of things that were so important to her, like her HAM Radio set up. She was a neat woman and I will miss her dearly.
