Henderika “Rika” J. Brands, age 83, of Belvidere, NJ died Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown, NJ. Henderika was born June 26, 1930 in Gronigen, Holland. She was the daughter of the late Jan and Johanna (Muller) Jansen.
Rika was a loving and devoted mother who enjoyed spending time with her adoring grandchildren.
She is survived her son, Randolph J. Brands and his wife Barbara, daughter, Judy Rossmell and her husband Robin; 4 grandchildren, Ryan R. and Christopher R. Rossmell, Amanda J.and Casey L. Brands.
Cremation is private. Burial of remains will be at Hackettstown Union Cemetery at a later date.
