Ellen Coursen, age 55, Lafayette, NJ died Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Newton Memorial Hospital, Newton, NJ. Ms. Coursen was born August 19, 1958 in Flemington, NJ. She is the daughter of the late George and the late Edna (Easley) Seyfarth. She was employed by Communications Techniques, Inc., Whippany, NJ as a Purchasing Agent for many years. She enjoyed golf, reading and socializing with friends. Ellen loved spending time at the beach and with her granddaughter Katelyn. She is survived by her significant other, Patrick F. Dock, 1 daughter Mackenzie Saganiec and her husband Brett, 1 son, Zachary Coursen; 2 sisters, Mary Perrine and her husband Jim, Linda Ahart and her husband Ronald, 1 brother, George Seyfarth and his wife Kim and 1 grandchild, Katelyn. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 15 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Rev. David Wright officiating. Burial will be in German Valley Rural Cemetery, Long Valley following services. Visitation will be Monday, July 14 from 4:00 - 8:00PM at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. www.cochranfuneral.com
