Barbara L. Brodeur

 Barbara L. Brodeur, age 88, of Hackettstown, NJ formerly of Scottsdale, AZ died Sunday, November 29, 2015 at House Of The Good Shepherd, Hackettstown.  Barbara was born February 11, 1927 in White Plains, NY. She is the daughter of the late George and the late Florence (Verplanck) Martin.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband; Albert S. Brodeur.

Barbara graduated Centenary Jr. College, Hackettstown, NJ in 1947 and Marywood College, Scranton, Pa in 1949, was formerly a Librarian employed by Southville High School, Rockville, NY from 1949-1952.  She was a 60+ year member of DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution), member of the Colonial Dames, AZ, the Paul Harris International Rotary, an active member of the Christ Episcopal Church, Greenwich, CT, member of the St. Barnabas on the Dessert, Scottsdale, AZ, served on the Board of Trustees at Centenary College and was the National Alumni President there from 1966-1967.

She is survived by 2 daughters; Christine Brodeur and her husband Donald MacClellan, Deidre Ann Brodeur and her husband Michael Coen, 2 grandchildren; Elizabeth Coen and Patrick Coen.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the House of the Good Shepherd, 798 Willow Grove Street, Hackettstown, NJ.  Cremation is private.

Burial of ashes will be held at the Rural Cemetery, White Plains, NY also at a later date.
